This painting is part of a new series exploring the visual poetry abstraction is capable of. The meaning if any, should be left up to the viewer, however for myself the Crimson Veil is a memory of sensual experience from youth. The artist, now middle-aged, looking through the veil of past sensual encounters with a wistful feeling.

Argo in greek mythology, was a ship used by Jason in search of the golden fleece. A metaphor for a journey in self-discovery. Painting allows me the space to launch my own search, using myths as a starting point. "Your sacred space is where you find yourself again and again"____Joseph Campbell
